Dr. Hurley and staff provide the latest in eye care technology and new state of the art computerized equipment. Dr. Hurley specializes in adult and pediatric eye care and difficult contact lens fittings; including gas-permeable, toric and bifocal contacts. Laser refractive consultations are included with very comprehensive eye exam upon request.

Dr. Hurley graduated from Madison High School in Rexburg Idaho and went on to Ricks College. He received an Associate of Science Degree from Ricks College in 1998. He then received a Bachelor’s Degree from Idaho State University in 2000. Dr. Hurley and his family then moved to Oregon where he graduated with a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) from Pacific University. He received hands-on training from the Eye Institute of Utah, Salt Lake Veterans Hospital, and contact lens training at the Moran Eye Center. Dr. Hurley is a current member of the Idaho Optometric Physicians Association and American Optometry Association.

Dr. Hurley is an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will do all that he can to serve his patients and community, He celebrated 10 years of business last spring and is excited to announce the building of his new office coming this fall. When asked what he likes most about being an optometrist, he will tell you that, “it’s being able to see my patients and their families year after year and knowing that they trust me as their primary eye care provider.”

Dr. Hurley is married and has three beautiful daughters. He just sent one off to college at BYU Idaho. He loves spending time with his family going boating, traveling to St. George to see grandparents, concerts and sporting events. When he can find time to sneak away he loves to fish, bike and golf.
